20th post - still in AbuDhabi.. enroute to Tarim Day-3.. Alhamdulillah.

the latest word is the Yemenia Airways flight will depart later at 1am Abu Dhabi time on Wed, 11 July (5am, Singapore time).. urm unsure though if its going to Seiyun or Rayyan. i know, its really cool how uncertainty here is totally acceptable... its like life here is stress free.. if it comes it comes.. if it doesn't, well.. chill. that aside, inshaAllah khair.. do make du'a for us the stranded ones.

but we are good Alhamdulillah. we are housed in a temporary airport hotel.. well, not the hotel rooms.. 10 of us are placed in a private resting lounge, a corner for the 5 male Dowra participants and another corner for us 5 ladies. there's a big plasma TV featuring silent Al-Jazeera.. individual sofas for us to curl our tired bodies to sleep... hotel style buffet cater to our 3 daily meal needs and the individual shower room is just heavenly... smells of expensive soap.. like those that comes in Crabtree & Evelyn gift baskets. tink im sleeping there later with them cosy bathrobe.

we can shower to freshen up (and get rid of the stank of me oily hair) but we are still wearing what we wore since the day we travelled from our respective countries as our clean clothes are in our checked-in luggage... hanging out somewhere in AbuDhabi... =)

mashaAllah we just heard from the brothers, we will be getting actual hotel rooms to stay till our flight.. *stumped in gratefulness* this is too much.. as it is we are already more than comfortable with the current arrangement... Ya Rabbi the ease You have provided for us seekers... Alhamdulillah... *istighfars* may Allah guide us to not be negligent with the ni'mah HE has given us.. Amin.

for me, this time to myself.. is Allah's gift to me. back in Singapore my working years are always keeping up with everything else. now, being given time to reflect, get ample sleep, eat well and being sweat-free (i have this thing against humidity).. YaRabbi, a timely "holiday" mashaAllah... no work.. no itinerary to adhere to.. just cool clean space with the company of good people who repeatedly say, "inshaAllah khair.. it happens cuz Allah wills it to happen with a hikmah.." reflect dora.. and search for the lesson and reflect.
